My name is Kathleen Alcala, the youngest of the sister trio. I live in the Monterey Peninsula in California, where it can be foggy and cold for the most part. Despite the fog, I love living on the Peninsula. It's very beautiful and peaceful.
I wear many different work hats. I run a full-time business and I am in the process of finishing my intern hours for my counseling certificate. My favorite "hat" of late has been starting Papertons.
Papertons developed from my love of paper, pictures, lace, glitter, vintage scrap and ribbon. As a child I loved little baggies filled with small surprises. I couldn't wait to spend my few cents on any sticker I could find. I would hang on to colored paper and hate to use it because I didn't know if I would get another one so pretty.
As an adult I now can have all the paper, ribbons, scraps and baggies to my heart's desire. I look forward to finding different and exciting items to add to Papertons' monthly scrapbooking kits and mini-kits. I have turned over the most creative part of Papertons to my sister, Diane and the eldest sister of the trio, Pat. Pat runs our blog, newsletters, and forms of correspondence. Pat has great creativity flowing forth onto paper through her words and I look forward to reading what she comes up with.
With my business experience, Diane's creativity and Pat's eloquence, Papertons is a unique and beautiful business.

Hi, my name is Diane Steverson and I live in a small town in Oregon with my husband, Sam and our dogs. We are proud pet parents of Song, Ozzy and Teddy Bear. I teach scrapbooking and card-making classes in this wonderful after school program opened to adults and teens. It brings me pleasure to see the talent and ideas that pour forth from the students.
As far back as I can remember I have enjoyed making crafts thanks to my Mom. While growing up, she would take us kids to different art classes and she would also have "craft times" where we learned the joy of scrapping. She taught us an awful lot and encouraged us to experiment with whatever seemed like fun. Those times around the table just being silly still have a special place in my heart. So thanks Mom!
So we "Girls" have decided to start our own online business! We have similar taste and we still enjoy "just being silly." We love vintage and cottage styles, tea parties, The Victorian Age, teddy bears and on and on. We have carefully chosen items, which reflect these tastes, and we hope you will enjoy them as well! Have fun and "keep on scrappin".

Hello, my name is Pat Verzosa. I am the oldest sister of Papertons "trio." Along with my sisters Diane and Kathleen, I share a love for the beauty and timelessness of vintage.
I am the proud mother of two adult children, Anna and David. We are the owners of Dreams, our adorable and totally spoiled cat.
Since the death of my husband, I have learned life is short and to enjoy the moments we have with those we love. I have also learned my faith in God, my family and friends are the most important things in my life.
I am very excited to be a part of Papertons. Everything we feature will come from our hearts. Our hope is that you will fall in love with Papertons and visit us quite often!
